USDA: 2021/22 soybean production, exports and crush forecast lowered for Brazil and Argentina

SDA estimates that Brazil’s soybean inventory in 2021/22 will be 27.95 million tons at the beginning of the period, and the output will be 127 million tons, down 7 million tons from the previous month’s forecast, down from 138 million tons in the previous year; tons, a decrease of 500,000 tons from the previous year; exports of 85.5 million tons, a decrease of 5 million tons from the previous month, an increase of 3.85 million tons from the previous year; ending inventory of 21 million tons, a decrease of 1.35 million tons from the previous month, a decrease from the previous year 6.95 million tons.

USDA predicts that Argentina’s soybean inventory in 2021/22 will be 25.06 million tons at the beginning, and soybean production will be 43.5 million tons, down 1.5 million tons from the previous month’s forecast and lower than the previous year’s 46.2 million tons; imports are 2.9 million tons, down 20 from the previous month. 10,000 tons, a decrease of 1.92 million tons from the previous year; 40 million tons of crush, the same as last month, a decrease of 160,000 tons from the previous year; 2.75 million tons of exports, a decrease of 1 million tons from the previous month, a decrease of 2.45 million from the previous year ton; the ending inventory was 22.35 million tons, an increase of 850,000 tons from the previous month and a decrease of 3.56 million tons from the previous year.
