U.S. soybean crush profits 101% higher in week 14 of 2022 than a year earlier
Foreign media, April 10 news: The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s weekly crush report showed that the U.S. soybean crush profit increased by 1.91% last week from a week ago and increased by 101.05% from the same period last year.
For the week ended April 8, 2022, U.S. soybean crush profit was $3.84 per bush, compared to $3.81 per bush a week earlier and $1.91 per bush a year earlier.
Central Illinois edamame oil trucks were quoted at 79.62 cents a pound, compared with 73.78 cents a pound a week ago and 58.42 cents a year earlier.
Spot prices for 48% protein soybean meal at soybean processing plants in Central Illinois were $488.70 a short ton, compared with $470.00 a short ton a week ago and $407.40 a short ton a year earlier.
During the same period, the price of No. 1 yellow soybean was $16.98/bu, $15.89/bu a week ago, and $14.50/bu in the same period last year.
