U.S. private exporters reported sales of 108,000 tonnes of soybeans to China on Friday
– Exporters also reported sales of 128,000 tonnes of corn to Japan and 30,000 tonnes of soybean oil to unknown destinations
WASHINGTON, Feb. 13: Private exporters reported sales of 108,000 tonnes of U.S. soybeans to unknown destinations for delivery in 2022/23, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said in a one-day export sales report on Friday.
U.S. exporters also reported sales of 128,000 tonnes of corn to Japan for delivery in 2021/22 and 30,000 tonnes of soybean oil to unknown destinations for delivery in 2021/22.
Recently, the U.S. Department of Agriculture has successively released one-day soybean sales reports, reflecting the worsening prospects for soybean production in South America, prompting buyers such as China to speed up their purchases of soybeans from the United States.
On February 10, private exporters reported sales of 299,700 tonnes of soybeans to unknown destinations, with 233,700 tonnes for delivery in 2021/22 and 66,000 tonnes for delivery in 2022/23. On February 9, private exporters reported sales of 240,000 tonnes of soybeans to China for delivery in 2022/23.
On February 8, private exporters reported sales of 332,000 tonnes of soybeans to unknown destinations and 132,000 tonnes to China, both for delivery in 2022/23. On February 7, private exporters reported sales of 507,000 tonnes of soybeans to unknown destinations, with 249,000 tonnes for delivery in 2021/22 and 258,000 tonnes for delivery in 2022/23. On February 4, private exporters reported sales of 295,000 tonnes of U.S. soybeans to unknown destinations, with 252,000 tonnes for delivery in 2021/22 and 43,000 tonnes for delivery in 2022/23. On February 2, private exporters reported sales of 380,000 tonnes of soybeans to unknown destinations for delivery in 2021/22. On February 1, private exporters reported sales of 132,000 tonnes of soybeans to China for delivery in 2022/23. On January 31, private exporters reported sales of 129,000 tonnes of soybeans to China, with 66,000 tonnes for delivery in 2021/22 and 63,000 tonnes for delivery in 2022/23. On January 28, private exporters reported sales of 264,000 tonnes of soybeans to China for delivery in 2022/23, 141,514 tonnes to Mexico for delivery in 2021/22; sales of 251,500 tonnes of U.S. soybeans to unknown destinations for 2021/22 Annual delivery.
The U.S. soybean year begins on September 1.
The USDA publishes a weekly report on export sales, in addition to a daily report on export sales. If the exporter has any single commodity sales activity of 100,000 tons or more in a single business day, or sales of 200,000 tons or more of the commodity in the reporting period, the next business day at 3:00 p.m. Prior to making a report to the USDA. If the volume is lower than the above requirements, report it on a weekly basis.
