U.S. Department of Agriculture: The U.S. shipped 1.39 million tons of soybeans to China last week
Washington, November 29: The weekly export inspection report issued by the US Department of Agriculture shows that the number of soybeans shipped by the United States to China (mainland) last week increased by 12.5% compared to the previous week.
In the week ending November 25, 2021, the United States has shipped 1,385,016 tons of soybeans to China (Mainland China). The United States shipped 1,231,622 tons of soybeans to China (Mainland China) the previous week.
US soybean export inspections to China accounted for 64.6% of the total export inspections that week, compared with 73.1% last week and 63.6% two weeks ago.
In the November 2021 Supply and Demand Report, the US Department of Agriculture predicts that China’s soybean imports in 2021/22 are expected to be 100 million tons, which is lower than the October forecast of 101 million tons and a year-on-year increase of 0.24%.
