The latest statistics on US soybean exports to China: 370,000 tons of soybeans were shipped to China last week
——Total sales to China decreased by 22.8% year-on-year
Washington, March 17 News: The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s weekly export sales report showed that total U.S. soybean export sales to China (mainland) decreased by 22.8% year-on-year, compared with a 23.7% year-on-year decrease in the previous week.
As of March 10, 2022, the 2021/22 (starting on September 1) soybean export shipments from the United States to China (mainland) were 256.53 million tons, compared with 34.71 million tons in the same period last year.
The United States shipped 370,000 tons of soybeans to China that week, and 305,000 tons of soybeans to China the previous week.
U.S. soybean sales to China in 2021/22 have so far been 2.06 million tonnes but not shipped, up from 1.14 million tonnes in the same period last year.
So far in 2021/22, total U.S. soybean sales to China (shipped and unloaded) are 27.69 million tons, down 22.8% year-on-year. %.
U.S. soybean sales to China in 2022/23 were 5.639 million tons, 406,000 tons higher than a week earlier.
In the March 2022 supply and demand report, the USDA estimated that China’s soybean imports in 2021/22 are expected to be 94 million tons, which is lower than the 97 million tons forecast in February and 5.77% lower than the 99.76 million tons in 2021/22.
