Washington, April 21 News: The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s weekly export sales report showed that total U.S. soybean export sales to China (mainland) decreased by 16.7% year-on-year, compared with a year-on-year decrease of 18.3% in the previous week.
As of April 14, 2022, the 2021/22 (starting on September 1) soybean export shipments from the United States to China (mainland) were 27.29 million tons, compared with 34.93 million tons in the same period last year.
The United States shipped about 290,000 tons of soybeans to China that week, and 420,000 tons of soybeans to China the previous week.
U.S. soybean sales to China in 2021/22 have so far been 2.39 million tonnes but not shipped, up from 710,000 tonnes a year earlier.
So far in 2021/22, total U.S. soybean sales to China (shipped and unloaded) are 29.68 million tons, down 16.7% year-on-year, compared with last week’s 18.3% year-on-year decrease and a 19.6% year-on-year decrease two weeks ago. %.
U.S. soybean sales to China in 2022/23 were 6.562 million tons, up 669,000 tons from a week earlier.
