The latest statistics of US SOYBEAN exports to China: 1.4 million tons of soybeans were shipped to China last week

— Total sales to China increased 11.1 percent year-on-year

Washington, Oct. 20 – U.S. SOYBEAN export sales to China rose 11.1% year-to-date from a year earlier, following a 12.0% increase in the previous week, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s WEEKLY Export Sales report.

U.S. soybean export shipments to China (mainland) in 2022/23 (which began on September 1) were 2.467 million tons as of October 13, 2022, compared with 3.720 million tons in the same period last year.

The United States shipped 1.401 million tons of soybeans to China that week, compared with 607,000 tons the week before.

So far, 14.16m tonnes of US soyabeans have been sold to China but not shipped in 2022/23, up from 11.24m tonnes in the same period last year.

Total US soybean sales to China (those already shipped and those not yet shipped) were 16.63 million tons in 2022/23 year-to-date, up 11.1 percent from 12.0 percent in the previous week and 12.8 percent two weeks ago.

U.S. SOYBEAN EXPORT SALES totaled 30.52 million tons, up 5.0% from 29.07 MILLION tons A YEAR earlier.

The US Department of Agriculture’s October 2022 Supply and Demand report projected China’s soybean imports at 98 million tons in 2022/23, up 1 million tons from September and 8.89% higher than the 90 million tons in 2021/22.
