Secex: Brazil soybean exports in the first week of January at 150,000 tons/day

Foreign media reported on January 11: Brazil’s foreign trade secretariat (SECEX) released data showing that in the first week of 2021, Brazil exported an average of 150,800 tons of soybeans per day, higher than the average daily export volume of 2,470 tons in the same period last year.

Soybean exports from Brazil all but stagnated early last year as supplies were extremely tight and rainy weather at the time delayed the soybean harvest. Soybean stocks are higher this year than last year, and the new soybean harvest has just started.
