Foreign media news on December 21: The consulting agency Safras e Mercado said that as of December 17, the soybean planting progress in Brazil reached 97.5%, which is 0.7% higher than the 96.8% a week ago.

The planting progress in the same period last year was 95.7%, and the average progress in the same period of five years was 96.8%.

The states where planting has now ended include Parana, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás, São Paulo and Minas Goiás.
