WASHINGTON, Nov. 8: Private exporters reported sales of a combined 414,700 tons of soybeans to China, unknown destinations and Mexico, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s one-day export sales report on Tuesday.
Among them, exporters reported sales of 138,700 tons of soybeans to China, 132,000 tons of soybeans to unknown destinations, and 144,000 tons of soybeans to Mexico, all for delivery in the 2022/23 season that began on September 1.
The last time private U.S. exporters reported single-day soybean export sales was Oct. 28, when it reported sales of 126,000 tons to China and 198,000 tons to Spain.
The USDA publishes a weekly report on export sales, in addition to a daily report on export sales. If the exporter has any single commodity sales activity of 100,000 tons or more in a single business day, or sales of 200,000 tons or more in the reporting period, the next business day must be 3:00 p.m. Prior to making a report to the USDA. If the volume is lower than the above requirements, report it on a weekly basis.
