Private U.S. exporters on Friday reported sales of 590,000 tons of soybeans to China and unknown destinations
WASHINGTON, Oct. 17: Private exporters reported sales of 590,000 tonnes of soybeans to China and unknown destinations for delivery in 2022/23, according to a one-day export sales report released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture on Friday. Among them, 392,000 tons of soybeans were sold to China, and 198,000 tons of soybeans were sold to unknown destinations.
Private exporters last Thursday reported sales of 264,000 tonnes of soybeans to China and 242,000 tonnes to unknown destinations.
Private exporters reported sales of 526,000 tonnes of soybeans to China last Wednesday.
The U.S. soybean year begins on September 1.
The USDA publishes a weekly report on export sales, in addition to a daily report on export sales. If the exporter has any single commodity sales activity of 100,000 tons or more in a single business day, or sales of 200,000 tons or more of the commodity in the reporting period, the next business day at 3:00 p.m. Before reporting to the USDA. If the volume is lower than the above requirements, report it on a weekly basis.
