PAN expects Brazil to produce up to 146 million tons of soybeans next year
Foreign media, May 11 news: Brazilian consulting agency Homestead Farmers (PAN) released its first production forecast report for 2022/23 on Wednesday. The company expects Brazil’s soybean production in 2022/23 (September-August) to reach 146 million tonnes, up 19.5% from the previous year’s drought-reduced output.
Brazil’s soybean planting area in 2022/23 reached 42.17 million hectares (104.204 million acres), a year-on-year increase of 2.8%.
