Net U.S. soybean sales to China were about 860,000 tons in the week ended Aug. 11
WASHINGTON, Aug. 18 News: The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s weekly export sales report shows that net U.S. soybean sales to China (mainland) were about 860,000 tons in the week ended Aug. 11, with 2021/22 Soybean sales were 81,000 tons, and net sales in 2022/23 were 779,000 tons.
For comparison, the net sales of soybeans from the United States to China in the previous week were about 129,000 tons, of which the sales of soybeans in 2021/22 decreased by 66,000 tons, and the net sales in 2022/23 were 195,000 tons. .
Looking at the sales of other grains, China bought 72,000 tons of old corn and 137,000 tons of new corn, and 51,000 tons of American sorghum. The U.S. shipped 274,000 tons of corn, 54,000 tons of sorghum and 285,000 tons of soybeans to China that week.
