In the first 11 months of 2022, China purchased 52.46 million tons of Brazilian soybeans
Foreign media news on December 13: According to data from the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) of the Brazilian Ministry of Economy, from January to November 2022, China imported 52.464 million tons of soybeans from Brazil, 13% lower than the 60.476 million tons in 2021. China is the largest buyer of Brazilian soybeans.
Spain ranked second, purchasing 3.281 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 9%.
Thailand was the third largest buyer, purchasing 2.614 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 8%.
In the first 11 months of 2022, Brazil’s soybean exports totaled 77.033 million tons. The same period last year was 86.11 million tons.
