Datagro raises Brazil soybean production forecast for 2021/22 to 126.18 million tons
Foreign media, June 30 news: Private consulting firm Datagro released a report that raised its 2021/22 soybean production, which has already been harvested, to 126.18 million tons, up from a May forecast of 124.86 million tons. If confirmed, it would be 9.1% lower than the record production in 2021/22, reflecting the damage to crops from Brazil’s dry weather this season.
Datagro raised its 2021/22 soybean plantings in Brazil to 41.67 million hectares, up from an earlier estimate of 41.23 million hectares.
