CONAB: Brazil soybean harvest progressed to 99.1% as of May 28
Foreign media, June 1 news: Brazil’s national commodity supply company (CONAB) released data show that as of May 28, Brazil’s 2021/22 soybean crop harvest progress reached 99.1%, up from 98.1% a week ago, and the same period last year. The harvest progress is 99.6%.
The monthly report released by CONAB on May 12 said that Brazil’s soybean production in 2021/22 will reach 123.83 million tons, 1.1% higher than the April forecast, but still 10.4% lower than the 2020/21 production due to the end of last year. Drought by the beginning of the year reduced crop yields in key producing areas.
