China imported more Brazilian soybeans than U.S. soybeans in November

News from Beijing, December 20: According to statistics released by the customs on Monday, China’s soybean imports in November 2021 totaled 8.57 million tons, a decrease of 10.6% from 9.59 million tons in November last year.

It is worth mentioning that China imported more soybeans from Brazil in November than it imported from the United States.

In November, China imported 3.63 million tons of soybeans from the United States, a decrease of 40% year-on-year; in November, it imported 3.75 million tons of soybeans from Brazil, an increase of 37% year-on-year.

From 1 to 11 months this year, China imported 87.65 million tons of soybeans, down 5.5% year-on-year.
