China did not buy soybeans from the U.S. in the week ended May 5

WASHINGTON, May 12: The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s weekly export sales report showed that the U.S. did not sell any soybeans to China for the week ended May 5.

For comparison, the United States sold about 468,800 tons of soybeans to China the previous week, of which 200,800 tons were delivered in 2021/22 and 268,800 tons were delivered in 2022/23.

Looking at the sales of other grains, China bought 80,000 tons of U.S. sorghum that week. The U.S. shipped 260,000 tons of corn, 270,000 tons of sorghum and 148,000 tons of soybeans to China that week.
