China canceled 72,000 tonnes of U.S. aged soybean contracts in the week to May 26

WASHINGTON, June 5: U.S. soybean sales to China for 2021/22 fell by 72,200 tons in the week ended May 26, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s weekly export sales report showed. For comparison, U.S. soybean sales to China (mainland) for 2021/22 fell by 108,400 tons the previous week.

Looking at the sales of other grains, China bought 63,000 tons of U.S. corn and 66,000 tons of U.S. sorghum that week, both of which were orders for delivery in 2021/22. The U.S. shipped 269,000 tons of corn, 136,000 tons of sorghum and 70,000 tons of soybeans to China that week.
