China bought about 890,000 tons of soybeans from the U.S. in the week ended Feb. 17

WASHINGTON, Feb. 27: The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s weekly export sales report shows that the U.S. sold about 890,000 tons of soybeans to China (mainland) in the week ended Feb. 17, including sales in 2021/22. Sales volume for delivery in 2022/23 was 601,000 tons. For comparison, the U.S. sold about 1.1 million tons of soybeans to China in the previous week, including 225,000 tons for 2021/22 and 876,000 tons for delivery in 2022/23.

Looking at the sales of other grains, China bought 125,000 tons of U.S. sorghum that week for delivery in 2021/22. The U.S. shipped 555,000 tons of corn, 256,000 tons of sorghum and 393,000 tons of soybeans to China that week.
