China bought about 700,000 tons of soybeans from the U.S. in the week ended April 7

WASHINGTON, April 14: The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s weekly export sales report showed that the United States sold about 700,000 tons of soybeans to China (mainland) in the week ended April 7, of which 436,000 tons of soybeans were sold in 2021/22. Annual deliveries, with 267,000 tonnes delivered in 2022/23. For comparison, the U.S. sold about 436,000 tonnes of soybeans to China the previous week for delivery in 2021/22.

Judging from the sales of other grains, China bought 1.08 million tons of U.S. corn (of which 672,000 tons will be delivered in 2021/22 and the remaining 408,000 tons will be delivered next year) and 137,000 tons of U.S. sorghum. The U.S. shipped 472,000 tons of corn, 142,000 tons of sorghum and 415,000 tons of soybeans to China that week.
