China bought about 20,000 tonnes of soybeans from the US in the week ended March 17

WASHINGTON, March 24: The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s weekly export sales report shows that the United States sold about 20,000 tons of soybeans to China (mainland) in the week ended March 17, of which 32,500 tons were in 2021/22. Deliveries, but purchases for 2022/23 are reduced by 13,000 tonnes.

For comparison, the U.S. sold about 800,000 tons of soybeans to China in the previous week, of which 396,000 tons were delivered in 2021/22 and 406,000 tons were delivered in 2022/23.

Looking at the sales of other grains, China bought 127,000 tons of U.S. sorghum that week for delivery in 2021/22. The U.S. shipped 478,000 tons of corn, 255,000 tons of sorghum and 162,000 tons of soybeans to China that week.
