China bought 400,000 tons of soybeans from the U.S. in the week ended May 12
WASHINGTON, May 19: The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s weekly export sales report showed that the United States sold 400,000 tons of soybeans to China (mainland) in the week ended May 12, of which 392,600 tons were for delivery in 2021/22. , 8,000t for delivery in 2022/23. In contrast, the U.S. did not sell any soybeans to China (mainland) the previous week.
Looking at the sales of other grains, China bought 59,000 tons of U.S. corn and 64,000 tons of U.S. sorghum that week. The U.S. shipped 195,000 tons of corn, 192,000 tons of sorghum and 231,000 tons of soybeans to China that week.
