China bought 390,000 tons of U.S. soybeans in the week ended June 2
WASHINGTON, June 9: The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s weekly export sales report showed that the United States sold 390,000 tons of soybeans to China (mainland) in the week ended May 26, of which 129,000 tons were delivered in 2021/22. 261,000 tonnes will be delivered in 2022/23. For comparison, U.S. soybean sales to China (mainland) for 2021/22 fell by 72,200 tons the previous week.
Looking at the sales of other grains, China bought 73,000 tons of U.S. sorghum that week for delivery in 2021/22. The United States shipped 267,000 tons of corn, 218,000 tons of sorghum and 15,000 tons of soybeans to China that week.
