China bought 267,000 tonnes of U.S. soybeans in the week ended June 9

WASHINGTON, June 16 News: The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s weekly export sales report showed that the United States sold 267,000 tons of soybeans to China (mainland) in the week ended June 9, of which 135,000 tons were delivered in 2021/22. 132,000 tonnes for delivery in 2022/23.

For comparison, the United States sold 390,000 tons of soybeans to China in the previous week, of which 129,000 tons were delivered in 2021/22 and 261,000 tons were delivered in 2022/23.

Looking at the sales of other grains, China bought 5,000 tons of U.S. corn and 67,000 tons of U.S. sorghum that week for delivery in 2021/22. The United States shipped 413,000 tons of corn, 133,000 tons of sorghum and 75,000 tons of soybeans to China that week.
