China bought 16,000 tonnes of U.S. soybeans in the week ended June 16
WASHINGTON, June 30: The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s weekly export sales report showed that the United States sold 16,000 tons of soybeans to China (mainland) for delivery in 2021/22 in the week ended June 23.
For comparison, the United States sold 70,000 tons of soybeans to China the previous week, of which 6,000 tons were delivered in 2021/22 and 66,000 tons were delivered in 2022/23.
Looking at the sales of other grains, China bought 2,000 tons of U.S. sorghum that week for delivery in 2021/22. The U.S. shipped 208,000 tons of corn, 73,000 tons of sorghum and 94,000 tons of soybeans to China that week.
