China bought 1.89 million tons of soybeans from the U.S. in the week ended March 3

WASHINGTON, March 10: The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s weekly export sales report shows that the United States sold about 1.89 million tons of soybeans to China (mainland) in the week ended March 3, of which 1.096 million tons were in the 2021/22 season. On delivery, 797,000 tonnes will be delivered in 2022/23. For comparison, the U.S. sold about 1.26 million tons of soybeans to China the previous week for delivery in 2022/23, but sales fell 15,000 tons in 2021/22.

Looking at the sales of other grains, China bought 72,000 tons of U.S. sorghum that week for delivery in 2021/22. The U.S. shipped 555,000 tons of corn, 205,000 tons of sorghum and 305,000 tons of soybeans to China that week.
