Brazil exports 28.74 million tons of soybeans to China in the first five months of 2022
Foreign media, June 20 news: According to data from the Brazilian Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex), Brazil exported 28.743 million tons of soybeans to China from January to May 2022, a decrease of 12% from 32.735 million tons in the same period last year.
Brazil’s soybean exports totaled 43.023 million tons in the first five months of 2022, down from 46.471 million tons in the same period last year.
China is the largest buyer of Brazilian soybeans, and Spain ranks second, with purchases reaching 2.098 million tons, an increase of 21% year-on-year. The Netherlands ranked third with purchases of 1.371 million tonnes, down 11% year-on-year.
