BAGE: As of July 13, Argentina’s barley planting progress is 86.3%
Foreign media July 17 news: The weekly report released by the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange (BAGE) stated that in the week ended July 13, 2022, Argentina’s 2022/23 barley planting progress was 86.3%, It was 39.6 percentage points higher than two weeks ago, but still 2.2% lower than the same period last year.
The exchange estimates that 1.3 million hectares of barley are planted in Argentina in 2022/2023, up from 1.2 million hectares the previous year. The exchange did not release production forecasts. Barley production in 2021/22 is 5.2 million tonnes.
