BAGE: Argentina soybean harvest 99% complete as of June 15

Foreign media, June 19 news: The weekly report released by the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange (BAGE) said that in the week ended June 15, 2022, Argentina’s 2021/22 soybean harvest was 99%, more than a week The previous 97.4% was 1.6% higher and the average yield was 2.80 t/ha, down from 2.81 t/ha a week earlier.

Soybean production so far has been harvested at 43 million tonnes.

The exchange expects Argentina’s soybean production in 2021/2022 to be 43.3 million tons, up from 43.1 million tons in the previous year.

On June 10, the U.S. Department of Agriculture estimated Argentina’s soybean production at 43.4 million tons, up from 42 million tons forecast last month, but down from 46.2 million tons in the previous year.
