BAGE: Argentina soybean harvest 97.4% complete as of June 8
Foreign media, June 12 news: The weekly report released by the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange (BAGE) said that in the week ended June 8, 2022, Argentina’s 2021/22 soybean harvest was 97.4%, more than a week The previous 94.3% was 3.1% higher, and the average yield was 2.81 tons per hectare, down from 2.84 tons per hectare a week earlier.
Soybean production so far has been harvested at 42.5 million tonnes.
The exchange expects Argentina’s soybean production in 2021/2022 to be 43.3 million tons, up from 43.1 million tons in the previous year.
On June 10, the U.S. Department of Agriculture estimated Argentina’s soybean production at 43.4 million tons, up from 42 million tons forecast last month, but down from 46.2 million tons in the previous year.
