As of September 11, EU soybean imports in 2022/23 were about 2.36 million tons

Foreign media news on September 18: EU data show that between July 1 and September 11, 2022, the 2022/23 (starting on July 1) soybean import volume of the 27 EU countries was about 2.364 million tons, Down from 2.648 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, Brazil supplied 1.23 million tons (accounting for 52.1%), and the United States supplied 840,000 tons (35.6%).

The import volume of rapeseed was about 1.158 million tons, compared with 831,000 tons in the same period last year; of which Australia supplied 546,000 tons (47.2% share) and Ukraine supplied 504,000 tons (43.5%).

The import volume of soybean meal was about 3.037 million tons, compared with 3.263 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, Brazil supplied 1.660 million tons (54.7%) and Argentina supplied 1.068 million tons (35.2%).

The import volume of sunflower oil was 328,000 tons, compared with 300,000 tons in the same period last year, of which Ukraine supplied 295,000 tons (90.1%).

The import volume of palm oil was about 677,000 tons, compared with 1.222 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, Indonesia supplied 187,000 tons (27.6%), Malaysia supplied 166,000 tons (24.6%), and Guatemala supplied 156,000 tons (23.1% share).
