As of October 9, EU soybean imports in 2022/23 were around 3.1 million tonnes

Foreign media, October 16 news: EU data show that between July 1 and October 2, 2022, the 2022/23 (starting on July 1) soybean import volume of the 27 EU countries was about 3.116 million tons, Down from 3.385 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, Brazil supplied 1.612 million tons (accounting for 51.7%), and the United States supplied 1.046 million tons (33.6%).

The import volume of rapeseed was about 1.779 million tons, compared with 1.383 million tons in the same period last year; of which Ukraine supplied 1.017 million tons (57.2%) and Australia supplied 645,000 tons (36.2%).

The import volume of soybean meal was about 4.215 million tons, compared with 4.612 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, Brazil supplied 2.352 million tons (55.8%) and Argentina supplied 1.453 million tons (34.5%).

The import volume of sunflower oil was 449,000 tons, compared with 390,000 tons in the same period last year, of which Ukraine supplied 402,000 tons (89.5%).

The import volume of palm oil was about 923,000 tons, compared with 1.671 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, Indonesia supplied 311,000 tons (33.7%), Malaysia 215,000 tons (23.3%), and Guatemala 172,000 tons (18.6% share).
