As of November 6, EU soybean imports in 2022/23 were about 3.88 million tons

Foreign media news on November 13: EU data show that between July 1 and November 6, 2022, the 2022/23 (starting on July 1) soybean import volume of the 27 EU countries was about 3.88 million tons, This is down from 4.29 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, Brazil supplied 1.67 million tons (accounting for 43.0%), and the United States supplied 1.56 million tons (40.2%).

The import volume of rapeseed was about 2.49 million tons, compared with 1.76 million tons in the same period last year; of which Ukraine supplied 1.63 million tons (65.1%) and Australia supplied 660,000 tons (26.4%).

The import volume of soybean meal was about 5.6 million tons, compared with 5.6 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, Brazil supplied 3.01 million tons (53.8%) and Argentina supplied 2.01 million tons (35.9%).

The import volume of sunflower oil was 610,000 tons, compared with 580,000 tons in the same period last year, of which Ukraine supplied 540,000 tons (88.7%).

The import volume of palm oil is about 1.21 million tons, compared with 2.1 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, Indonesia supplied 420,000 tons (35.1%), Malaysia 250,000 tons (20.6%), and Guatemala 230,000 tons (19.3% share).
