As of November 27, the EU’s soybean imports in 2022/23 were about 4.3 million tons

Foreign media news on December 4: According to EU data, during the period from July 1 to November 27, 2022, the soybean import volume of 27 EU countries in 2022/23 (starting on July 1) is about 4.28 million tons. That was down from 5.11 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, the United States supplied 1.73 million tons (40.6%), and Brazil supplied 1.67 million tons (accounting for 39.1%).

Rapeseed imports were about 2.94 million tons, compared with 2.1 million tons in the same period last year; among them, Ukraine supplied 1.99 million tons (67.6%) and Australia supplied 730,000 tons (24.8%).

The import volume of soybean meal was about 6.54 million tons, which was 6.59 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, Brazil supplied 3.51 million tons (53.6%) and Argentina supplied 2.33 million tons (35.6%).

The import volume of sunflower oil was 760,000 tons, compared with 700,000 tons in the same period last year, of which Ukraine supplied 670,000 tons (88.9%).

The import volume of palm oil was about 1.35 million tons, compared with 2.39 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, Indonesia supplied 470,000 tons (35.0%), Malaysia 280,000 tons (20.7%), and Guatemala 250,000 tons (18.8%).
