As of November 13, EU soybean imports in 2022/23 were around 4 million tonnes
Foreign media November 20 news: EU data show that between July 1, 2022 and November 13, the 2022/23 year (starting on July 1) soybean imports by the 27 EU countries were about 3.98 million tons, This is down from 4.58 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, Brazil supplied 1.67 million tons (accounting for 42.0%), and the United States supplied 1.56 million tons (39.3%).
The import volume of rapeseed was about 2.61 million tons, compared with 1.88 million tons in the same period last year; of which Ukraine supplied 1.74 million tons (66.4%) and Australia supplied 660,000 tons (25.3%).
The import volume of soybean meal was about 5.91 million tons, compared with 5.92 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, Brazil supplied 3.24 million tons (54.8%) and Argentina supplied 2.06 million tons (34.9%).
The import volume of sunflower oil was 690,000 tons, compared with 610,000 tons in the same period last year, of which Ukraine supplied 610,000 tons (89.4%).
The import volume of palm oil is about 1.33 million tons, compared with 2.18 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, Indonesia supplied 460,000 tons (34.6%), Malaysia 270,000 tons (20.0%), and Guatemala 260,000 tons (19.3% share).
