As of July 31, EU soybean imports in 2022/23 were around 1.27 million tonnes
Foreign media August 7 news: EU data show that between July 1 and 31, 2022, the 2022/23 (starting on July 1) soybean import volume of the 27 EU countries was about 1.265 million tons, lower than 1.267 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, Brazil supplied 790,000 tons (62.4% share), and the United States supplied 354,000 tons (28.0%).
The import volume of rapeseed was about 491,000 tons, compared with 287,000 tons in the same period last year; Australia supplied 381,000 tons (77.6% share), and Ukraine supplied 49,000 tons (9.9%).
The import volume of soybean meal was about 1.283 million tons, compared with 1.135 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, Brazil supplied 706,000 tons (55.0%), and Argentina supplied 423,000 tons (33.0%).
The import volume of sunflower oil was 126,000 tons, compared with 138,000 tons in the same period last year, of which Ukraine supplied 116,000 tons (92.4%).
The import volume of palm oil is about 176,000 tons, compared with 516,000 tons in the same period last year. Among them, Indonesia supplied 65,000 tons (36.6%), Guatemala supplied 37,000 tons (21.1% share), and Malaysia supplied 32,000 tons (18.0%).
