As of August 14, EU soybean imports in 2022/23 were about 1.57 million tons
Foreign media August 21 news: EU data show that between July 1 and August 14, 2022, the 2022/23 (starting July 1) soybean import volume of the 27 EU countries was about 1.565 million tons, Down from 1.771 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, Brazil supplied 990,000 tons (accounting for 63.2%), and the United States supplied 411,000 tons (26.3%).
The import volume of rapeseed was about 719,000 tons, compared with 436,000 tons in the same period last year; of which Australia supplied 486,000 tons (a share of 67.4%), and Ukraine supplied 153,000 tons (21.4%).
The import volume of soybean meal was about 1.674 million tons, compared with 1.984 million tons in the same period last year. Among them, Brazil supplied 905,000 tons (54.0%), and Argentina supplied 573,000 tons (34.2%).
The import volume of sunflower oil was 192,000 tons, compared with 189,000 tons in the same period last year, of which Ukraine supplied 172,000 tons (89.7%).
The import volume of palm oil is about 445,000 tons, compared with 723,000 tons in the same period last year. Among them, Indonesia supplied 136,000 tons (30.5%), Malaysia supplied 125,000 tons (28.1%), and Guatemala supplied 94,000 tons (21.2% share).
