Foreign media news on November 24: Official data released by Argentina showed that Argentina’s soybean crush in October 2022 was 2.91 million tons, an increase of 1.3% from 2.87 million tons in September, but 3.33 million tons compared to October last year. A decrease of 12.6% reflects the continued sluggishness of the Argentine crushing sector this year. Local market players are expecting Argentina’s soybean crush in October to be between 2.8 and 2.9 million tons.
Global soybean crush hit a three-year low in September-October this year, according to data from Germany’s Hamburg Oil World. Among them, crushes in Argentina and the EU-27 fell, outpacing growth in China, the United States and India.
