ANEC raises its forecast for Brazil’s soybean exports in February to 7.2 million tons
Foreign media on February 23: Brazil’s national association of grain exporters (ANEC) said that Brazil’s soybean exports in February 2022 will reach 7.2 million tons, up from 7.1 million tons estimated a week ago.
If the forecast comes true, it will surpass the previous record of 5.51 million tons set in February last year.
Between February 13 and 19, Brazil exported 2.251 million tons of soybeans. Soybean exports for the Feb. 20-26 period are estimated at 3.244 million tons.
Brazil exported 2.418 million tons of soybeans in January this year.
