ANEC expects Brazil’s soybean exports to reach 10.6 million tons in May
Foreign media, May 11: Brazil’s national association of grain exporters (ANEC) said that Brazil’s soybean exports in May 2022 may reach 10.616 million tons, up from an estimate of 8.075 million tons to 10.5 million tons a week ago, but still low The export volume in May last year was 14.221 million tons.
ANCE data shows that Brazil exported 2.28 million tons of soybeans in January this year, compared with 54,000 tons in January last year. The export volume in February was 9.11 million tons, the highest level in history, 5.51 million tons in the same period last year; the export volume in March was 12.16 million tons, compared with 14.92 million tons in the same period last year; the export volume in April was 11.35 million tons, compared with 15.67 million tons in the same period last year .
If the latest May forecast of 10.616 million tons materializes, Brazil will export 45.537 million tons of soybeans in the first five months of this year, down from 50.375 million tons in the same period last year.
