【USDA Report】Weekly U.S. Soybean Export Sales Report

Washington, June 16 news; for the week ended June 9, 2022, net sales of soybeans in the United States for 2021/22 were 317,200 tons, 26% lower than last week and 16% lower than the four-week average. Major buyers include China (135,400 tons, of which sales decreased by 1,600 tons), Japan (83,000 tons, of which 50,000 tons were transferred from China, 37,500 tons were transferred from unknown destinations, and sales decreased by 9,000 tons), the Netherlands (68,500 tons) tons, of which 63,000 tons were transferred from unknown destinations), Mexico (58,900 tons, of which 47,500 tons were transferred from unknown destinations, and sales decreased by 6,000 tons), and Bangladesh (57,700 tons, of which 55,000 tons were transferred from unknown destinations), but the Sales to unknown destinations fell by 191,500 tonnes. Net sales in 2022/23 were 407,600t, with buyers including unknown destinations (196,500t), China (132,000t), Japan (50,000t), Colombia (14,000t), and Mexico (9,900t).

Exports for the week were 708,700 tonnes, 49% higher than last week and 23% higher than the four-week average. Major destinations include Mexico (184,800 tons), Egypt (109,500 tons), Japan (93,600 tons), China (74,600 tons), the Netherlands (68,500 tons).
