【USDA Report】Weekly U.S. Soybean Export Sales Report

Washington, May 12 news; U.S. 2021/22 net sales of soybeans for the week ended May 5, 2022 were 143,700 tons, a new annual low, 80% lower than last week, and 74% lower than the four-week average. Major buyers include Indonesia (66,200 tons, of which 55,000 tons were transferred from unknown destinations, and sales decreased by 7,600 tons), Japan (61,200 tons, of which 59,200 tons were transferred from unknown destinations, and sales decreased by 1,400 tons), Mexico ( 20,600 tons, of which another sales decreased by 2,700 tons), Venezuela (8,000 tons), Malaysia (5,300 tons, of which another sales decreased by 100 tons), but sales to unknown destinations decreased by 30,200 tons, sales to Peru volume decreased by 5,000 tons. Net sales in 2022/23 were 77,300 t, with buyers including unknown destinations (66,000 t), Panama (6,300 t), and Taiwan (5,000 t).

Exports for the week were 471,700 tonnes, 16% lower than last week and 37% lower than the four-week average. Major destinations include China (147,500 tons), Mexico (89,500 tons), Indonesia (72,400 tons), Taiwan (66,900 tons), and Japan (64,500 tons).
